More photos of our beautiful scottish terriers

here is a collection of photos of our scotties as well as some of the rescues we have had. Pictures will be added at the rate in which they come in from their new homes.

This little girl is Laura`s Golden Terra Bella. She was a rescue we had at Cultons scottish terriers. She was bred from multiple generations of wheatens. She never had the correct pigment in her. From the time Bella was a puppy she never had a black nose or the black around the eyes. This is from generations of wheaten to wheaten breeding. Bella has no black or brindle lineage.  Bella was placed with a lady named Judy who lives in Washington state. We do have rescues available from time to time. If you are interested in a rescue please check to see if we have any available. I also have links to rescue orginatations.Rescue references available. More rescue pictures to come .

She is now 5.The little girl next to her on the left is little Bella, the rescue. Trixie has produced some remarkable puppies. Her puppies are pictured in the brown basket on the page before hers. She is true to breed standard  and has a nice nature. She also has a nice coat- very full. She is a buff wheaten. Clyde on the  picture page #2 is also her puppy. Jovial`s California Charmer : son of American Champion Rockingham`s Pal Joey and American Champion Jovial`s Dancing Queen.

VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING YOUR SCOTTIE!!!

Please be aware that  the fear period of a puppeis life is in the 8th to 10th week of life. It is instinctual for a puppy to den and back away from the most familiar of things when they reach this age.this is why we sometimes bring a puppy home and it runs from us or hides. I DO NOT SELL PUPPIES DURING THIS TIME!NO Scottie should be placed before the 12 week period is up. SCREEN YOUR BREEDER!!!

Spirited King Deveron ( Phillip)

This is my Phillip. He is the product of American Champion Arabella`s Ultrablond and Queen Bee Bee of Covina. Bee bee is not a champion however she was shown. She also earned Major points. She is champion bred from the only line to have won the Westminister Kennel club show. Phillip is a show quality scottie. He was graded by 2 professional handlers. Phil is solid black. He is the most loving scottie I have ever had. He thinks everyone who visits is his new mom and dad. We have a TON of pictures of this dog. If you would like to see more let me know. NO Longer available for stud service! He carries black, brindle and WHEATEN.He is the sire to all of our litters. He has produced some excellent quality puppies.

When buying a scottie puppy that has AKC papers. Go to the AKC  phone lines or websites. You can call and ask them when the breeding Bitch had her last litter. You can weed out people who breed their dogs to early, to often or back to back breed. It is a quick and easy way to screen your breeder. Remember the AKC is not the dog police and can not do anything once you have bought from a bad breeder. It is up to you to make the best decision for your family. Please make all breeders give you multiple references, pictures  and check with AKC. When the bitches are bred back to back it lessens the health of each litter.Contact me by email and I will send you a buying guide for the scotties. Print it and follow it and you will not go wrong. Also make sure the breeder you find follows the rules and regulations of the Scottish Terrier Club of America. The club is there to protect you the buyer and tell me the breeder how properly breed and care for my puppies. They know more  as a whole than any one breeder knows. Print their screening a breeder page on the stca.org website. For more info on the scotties, pictures or references please email or call.

More pictures available through email. Some are to big to put on the website.

During the years and through experience with the scotties in rescue I have found a few lines to be diseased. I have seen it with my own eyes and talked to several people with puppies and grown dogs from these lines. I have also had personal experience with  quite a few of them. Here they are.  1) sir Finley McKracken ( not to be confused with Sir Kelsey McKracken-- different lineage these 2 dogs are not related even though they share the same name!) 2) Queen Ashley  3) JOSHUA`S KING GEORGIE MCGREGOR ( CMO CARRIER , LIVER PROBLMES -- GEORGIES FULL BROTHER JUST DIED NOV 2006 FROM SEVERE LIVER/KIDNEY FAILURE HE WAS 4 YERAS OLD!) 4). GEORGIE IS MY SCOTTIE. He is the first scottie I ever had. I would not put his info on this websit if I was not Positive he has these terrible diseases in his lines. I will be adding a letter from His Brother Murphys Human Companion to the last page of the website. you can read his story late dec.2006. 4 years of age is way to young to loose a scottie. BUYERS BEWARE.Sara`s Little andy Boy ( CMO carrier- by the way this is Georgie and Murphys sire) 5) Halee`s darby O gal ( CMO Carrier- This is Murphy and Georgies mother) 6)Alabama Sweetie ( liver shunts, cushings, skin problems , thyroid problems-- very diseased lines,) Alabama Sweetie was also one of my dogs. This is how I know she carried disease. She died at 3 years of age. Once again WAY to you to loose a scottie! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LINE! 7) Baron 6 ( sire to Alabama sweetie  a obvious carrier to these diseases) 8) Amira Gabrielle ( dam to Alabama Sweetie ( A obvious carrier to these terrible diseases).!9) BlockheadLoppy- carrier of SARD and cushings, parent to Bailey  who died at 8 from these terrible diseases.10) Black jack joe, Obvious carrier of SARD and Cushings, was little bailey lambs father. I will post a email from Mr lamb , baileys human father about the terrible  time bailey had with these diseases. Look for these dogs in the pedigrees before you decide to buy your scottie. If you buy from these lines you risk one of these diseases! IF YOU BREED FROM THESE LINES YOU ARE PASSING TERRIBLE GENETIC DISEASES__ SHAME ON YOU!!
